Current Rotation

I've settled on Nike as my preferred brand, moving from Onitsuka Tigers to Adidas, and now focusing on Air Jordans. Here's my current shoe rotation:

Regular Rotation
  • Air Jordan 1 Low — Reverse Black Toe  9.5M
  • Air Jordan 1 Low — Flight Club  10.5M
  • Air Jordan 1 Mid — Tartan Swoosh  9.5M
  • Miler's  10M
Special Occasion
  • Air Force 1 Low  9M

Comfort Adjustments

I've decided to use insoles in my older shoes to enhance comfort, particularly for the Court Vision. I aim to hold off on purchasing new shoes until 2024, when I may consider getting another pair of Air Force 1s.

Impressions of Jordan 1s

I'm really impressed with the Air Jordans—they've taken me through various cities, including Tokyo and Busan. To make room for future purchases, I'll wear out the Court Vision's as I think most of my shoes feel a bit small. I'm contemplating moving up from a size 9.5 to 10.

Update — 6/11/23

After enduring discomfort with my previous sizes, I finally bought a pair of 10.5M Air Jordan 1 Lows, and what a difference it makes! I can't believe I waited so long to make this change. The comfort level is vastly improved, and I regret trying to force myself into smaller sizes for so long.

I've decided to part ways with my Converse and Court Vision's, as they will never be comfortable given their sizing. Instead, my rotation will now focus on the three pairs of Air Jordan 1s and the Miler's.

Future Plans

Eventually, I plan to replace both 9.5M AJ1s with 10.5M AJ1s in the colorways I want—specifically White/Black and Red/White/Black. I also prefer the materials of my current 9.5M AJ1 Lows, so I'm hoping to find similar quality in a larger size.

Overall, I'm looking forward to enjoying a more comfortable rotation and expanding my collection with the right fit.

Sony MDR-ZX100 vs ZX-110 vs ZX-310 Series Headphones

Gear Review Budget Audio Face-off: Sony ZX Series Review Comparing the ZX-100, ZX-110, and ZX-310 for your everyday carry ~3 Models ~$10–$20 Price 2.5+ Years Longevity Table of Contents ① Build Quality ② Cost Comparison ③ Sound Quality ④ Overall Value ⑤ Upgrade Path Section I Build Quality The Sony ZX series headphones primarily feature a durable plastic construction. My ZX-100 has lasted over 2½ years, enduring countless tosses into my backpack and car without any issues. However, the lower-end ZX-100 and ZX-110 models have a significant downside: poor-quality earpads.   The Earpad Problem Over time, the earpads on the ZX-100 and ZX-110 disintegrate, leaving vinyl flakes that stick to your hair and ears. The ZX-310 comes with upgraded earpads that don't suffer from this problem — a clear win in the build department. Tip: If your earpads start to flake, it is a sign of material degradation; consider replacing the cushions or upgrading to a model with more durable synthetic lea...

While features are always a plus, my main priority is size. Here's how some of the models I've tried stack up. 5600 Series For overall size, the 5600 series stands out as a favorite due to its compact, comfortable form. It's slim, lightweight, and fits well on my wrist without being too bulky. Although the 6900 series provides the benefit of a well-placed front illumination button, the 5600 remains the ideal size for everyday wear.   Section II Best Compromise: G900...
