Samsung A32 5G

Gear Review Samsung A32 5G Review: Budget Performance Revisited A look back at how this $100 workhorse holds up after two years of use $100 Price 2 Years Longevity 5,000 mAh Battery 13 Android Version Table of Contents ① Initial Impressions ② Longevity and Use Cases ③ Specifications Overview ④ Conclusion Section I Initial Impressions At the time of purchase, the Samsung A32 5G offered a compelling value proposition. Performance-wise, it remains surprisingly competitive, often matching or exceeding the iPhone 11 in daily operations. The only area where the device notably falls short is the screen display quality, which does not align with Samsung's traditional high-end standards.   Display Limitations The device features a 6.5" TFT LCD (720 x 1600 pixels, 60Hz) display. For modern users where high-quality video streaming is a priority, this is a distinct letdown. Note: Long-time Samsung users may feel a sense of nostalgia for the vibrant AMOLED screens found on older models...

EDC (Everyday Carry) - Feb 2022

Gear Review My Everyday Carry Update Refining the essentials for a lighter daily loadout ~2 Years Usage 2 Watches 1 Pocket Knife Section I The Current Rotation I'm really liking the simplicity of the Casio A168 and normally rock that most days, swapping it for my G-Shock 5600 on weekends. I’m also preferring a lighter weight kit and have gone back to the Victorinox Cadet. Otherwise, it's the same gear I've been using for almost two years. Note: While the current loadout has remained consistent for ...

Gear Review Exciting Find: 1991-1992 Swiss Army Knife Explorer *Uncovering a classic piece of EDC history* 1991 Year $20 Price 4 Layers Section I The Discovery I recently acquired a fantastic example of the vintage Swiss Army Knife (SAK) Explorer model. This specific piece is a great find, and through careful inspection of the tang stamp on the main blade—which dates back to the 1986-1992 production window—I was able to pin down its origin. Given that this model includes the carrier hook on the bottom tools, I can confidently confirm it was produced after 1991.   Identifying Features The tool's construction provides clear indicators of its era. → Grey Magnifying Lens — The hallmark of older model Explorers, which were in production from 1973 to 2004. → Carrier Hook — The addition that confirms this particular unit was manufactured no earlier than 1991. Collector's Insight: The combination of the Phillips screwdriver and the magnifying lens makes the Explorer a highly funct...
