I've made more bulk buys, including some Bordeaux and Cabernet-Merlot blends. I'm eager to see how they compare, especially since I've been impressed by the Garnache and GSM blends.

My wine rack is now full with 24 bottles, a feat made easy by the inexpensive yet delicious options available at Trader Joe's.

→ Fonbadet Bordeaux — A pleasant surprise. Quite pleased with its flavor; plan to bulk buy alongside the La Sonrieta Grenache.
→ GSM Blends — Hopeful these will round out the collection nicely.

Fonbadet 2019 — Still a Bulk Buy

They still have the 2019 Fonbadet. After enjoying the 2019 Reignac it reminded me of the Fonbadet, and at $7.99 it remains a bulk buy. Surprising they still have them available even after 2 years. While it has some harshness and bitterness compared to the Reignac, it rewards with some nice quality flavor.

At $7.99 the Fonbadet 2019 is an excellent everyday table wine — still worth stocking up on.
