A Challenging Year

2020 has been a challenging year. I know it could be worse, and in many ways, I’m very fortunate. However, the isolation and ennui are really taking their toll on me.

A Shared Experience

I’m sure things will improve. The COVID-19 pandemic has created a shared experience of global misery on a scale not felt since the Great Depression or World War II. As everyone says, it’s time to suck it up and carry on.

The Need for Normalcy

While I understand this and will continue to move forward, I still feel the need to express my frustrations. Despite being able to enjoy many creature comforts, one thing I sorely miss is the ability to eat in a proper restaurant—none of this takeaway.

Tip: During periods of extended isolation, focusing on small, daily routines can help maintain a sense of purpose and normalcy while we wait for the world to open up again.
