Updates
2023 - Cancelled Amazon Prime: I decided to quit Amazon Prime as I mainly used it for free shipping, which I can achieve by bundling orders.
2023 - Keeping Costco & Sam's Club: Although I shop infrequently, I find the membership worthwhile for the cheaper gas.
2023 - Keeping Car Wash Membership: The unlimited car washes for $240/yr save me time and keep my car clean, making this expense justifiable.
2023 - Evaluating Cuts: I'm considering cancelling the Gym and Museum memberships to save an additional $525, which would bring my annual recurring memberships down to $450.
2024 - Cancelled Disney+: After enjoying series like Mandalorian and Bad Batch, I found little else worth streaming, so I cancelled and will rely solely on Netflix. I also added the $1/month Apple Cloud Storage for 50GB as I'm no longer able to maintain a backup of my iPhone below 5GB; which honestly is weird as I don't sync much data.
2025 - Cost Increases + Resumed Gym: I resumed Gym for $320 a year. Costco went up $5, Car Wash, Netflix and Security Camera also increased from $728 --> $1,189; a +$461 increase. I'll cancel the gym in 2026. I also cancelled my Duolingo Super as I don't use it as much as I used to.
