The Evolution of Everyday Carry

It’s been a while, and my everyday carry (EDC) has changed every few months. I’m back to sporting a Swiss Army Knife and have found it surprisingly useful. You don’t realize how often you need to cut something—like a piece of rope, plastic, boxes, or tape—until you have the right tool on hand.

 

Daily Essentials

Besides opting for a quartz watch, the new daily essential is a face mask, which has become a necessary item in today’s world.

  • →iPhone 6s — primary mobile device
  • →Black Leather Wallet — for essential cards and cash
  • →Black Swiss Army Knife — Spartan model equipped with a fast-release keychain
  • →Victorinox INOX Quartz Watch — featuring an OD Green dial
  • →Disposable Face Mask — a new, non-negotiable daily staple
  • →Keys — not pictured, but always included in the rotation
  • →Ballpoint Pen — simple utility that is often more useful than the knife
Tip: I’m finding that having a pen is quite useful—sometimes even more than the Swiss Army Knife. Always keep a writing instrument on hand for unexpected needs.
